Disputes between partners in a partnership or major stockholders in a corporation are often very contentious. Tempers flare as accusations are tossed back and forth. Does this sound familiar?
We have represented a number of clients with such disputes, and we have found a few common threads which run throughout many of these cases. First, at least one person has committed significant wrongdoing to the detriment of one or more others. Second, the wrongdoer is typically adamant in the belief that they did nothing wrong. Third, if the wrongdoer is not vehemently pursued through the legal system, they are likely to get away with it. Finally, in many cases, the wrongdoer firmly believes they will get away with it, because they have done the same thing in the past, and their victim or victims did not have the resources or the nerve to pursue them.
David Wood has successfully obtained highly favorable resolutions for clients who were victimized by a wrongdoer. These cases almost always involve many documents, several witnesses, and significant accounting issues. Although Mr. Wood is not a CPA, he has a strong understanding of accounting and has worked closely with accountants as expert witnesses when expert testimony was necessary.
Contact us if you are the victim of a wrongdoer and need representation in connection with your ownership interest in a partnership, corporation, limited liability company, or other entity.
DAVID WOOD HAS SUCCESSFULLY OBTAINED HIGHLY FAVORABLE RESOLUTIONS FOR CLIENTS IN CORPORATE AND PARTNERSHIP DISPUTES.
